TRUMP FIRES U.S. ATTORNEY PREET BHARARA: In the Middle oF CPV related investigation Here’s WHY!
URGENT ACTION!! VALENTINES WEEK PLEASE CALL GOVERNOR CUOMO AND TELL HIM TO LOVE ORANGE COUNTY, LOVE NEW YORK AND REJECT THE VALLEY LATERAL PIPELINE, THE LAST COMPONENT OF THE CPV VALLEY POWER PLANT.
Millennium Pipeline a lawless and rogue pipeline operator owned by TransCanada, is seeking to take advantage of the current chaos at FERC by requesting a “Notice To Proceed” to begin tree cutting along the Valley Lateral path though they DO NOT yet have all of their permits. This is a complete violation of the law. Please call Governor Cuomo, Attorney General Eric Schneiderman, and DEC Commissioner Basil Seggos, and tell them to defend the law and Orange County. Please tell them to reject the water permit for the Valley Lateral Pipeline and shut down this power plant built on bribery, once and for all.
Governor Cuomo now 518-474-8390
Attorney General Eric Scheniderman 212 416-8446
DEC Commissioner Basil Seggos 518-402-8545
Then download this Valentines Card (Click HERE) and mail to Governor Cuomo, which tells him to, Love Orange County. Don’t Frack It Up.
Mail to: Honorable Andrew M. Cuomo, Governor of NYS, Capitol Building, Albany NY 12224
The indictment of aides close to Governor Cuomo and Competitive Power Ventures executive Galbraith Kelly validates what residents of Orange County New York have long suspected, that the CPV Valley Power Plant and its related facilities would never have been approved absent undue influence. “When you look at all the public health impacts and environmental conditions that were systematically ignored there is only one conclusion, that there were other motivations and incentives at play,” said Pramilla Malick of Protect Orange County, a local organization that has been opposing the project for several years. The group has been urging Governor Cuomo to shut the project down immediately pending the investigation, but those pleas have also been ignored by the Cuomo administration which announced its own investigation several months ago.
